What is a Balikbayan Box?

A balikbayan box is a large box filled with items, often gifts and essential goods, that Filipino expatriates send back home to their families in the Philippines. The term "balikbayan" comes from the Tagalog words "balik" (return) and "bayan" (country), reflecting the idea of sending items back to one's home country.
These boxes can contain a wide variety of items, such as clothing, food, toiletries, and other household goods. Balikbayan boxes are a common and cherished way for Filipinos abroad to stay connected with their loved ones, especially during holidays and special occasions. They are usually shipped via sea freight and can take several weeks to arrive.

You don’t have to wait 3 months for an out-of-state truck to come to the area, because our agents are here locally and online to assist you with any tracking or other questions and offer weekly and/or bi-weekly container shipments. We are your neighbors, and we hold a business license in the Counties where we are located and pay taxes that support our state and our local Communality.
Lyle, our Operations Manager, has lived in Kingsport for more than 20 years. His wife Carmelita, the owner was born and raised in Pampanga Philippines and they still have a lot of family living there in the same community today.
